I'm the proud owner of Wisconsin Balloon Decor, and it's been an incredible journey building this business from the ground up over the past decade. As a former art teacher turned full-time entrepreneur, I've poured my heart and soul into every balloon creation we bring to life.

In recent years, as I've grown my family, I've also had the joy of expanding our team to better cater to your party needs. Kate, our inflation queen, and Nicole, our booking specialist, are integral parts of our small but mighty team of powerhouse women.

Here's my story

Originally hailing from St. Charles, Illinois, I made my way to Wisconsin for college, proudly earning my degree from Carroll College. While my heart was set on majoring in ceramics, my parents nudged me towards a more "practical" education path, leading me to tack on an education major. Little did we all know, my career trajectory would take a turn even more unexpected than pottery...into the world of balloons.

Post-graduation, I embarked on a fulfilling career as a K-12 art teacher. Four years into teaching, I transitioned to a role supporting the Visual and Performing Arts back at Carroll University. Summers, traditionally a quieter time in education, sparked the start of a balloon side-hustle to keep me creatively engaged. Nearly eight years of juggling full-time work and nurturing my balloon business led to a pivotal decision in 2023: taking the plunge into full-time entrepreneurship.

In addition to growing my business, I tied the knot, welcomed two furry companions and two beautiful daughters into our family, and wemfound ourselves planting roots in the charming town of Lake Geneva. Nestled in a community known for its celebrations, it was the perfect backdrop for Wisconsin Balloon Decor to flourish over the past six years.
